So. Aroostook High School Senior Jordyn Bishop participated in the Auto Collision and Repair Program at the Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton. While at Region Two, Jordyn also competed in the SkillsUsa competition in Auto Collision Tool Identification and placed 1st in the State, earning the gold medal..
Jordyn has been a member of Student Council for three years and was also active in the school band, earning All-Aroostook Honors. Jordyn was a member of the Varsity Cheering program for four years and has played varsity Softball for two seasons.
Jordyn has also participated in a variety of community service projects including volunteering at the SACS Community Service Day and the SACS Clothing Drive. Jordyn and Candace Day volunteered their time and created a Junior Cheerleading team for Grades 2-7 students for their Senior Capstone Project. Students performed sideline cheers at a few games this winter and performed a dance routine at our pep rally.
Jordyn currently works part-time at Jerry’s Food Store in Island Falls. Jordyn’s future plans are to enter the workforce following graduating in June. Jordyn is the daughter of Joey and Karla Bishop.
