So. Aroostook High School Senior Rowan Billotti is a member of the National Technical Honor Society, will graduate with honors in June, and has earned numerous academic awards. Rowan participated in the Health Science/Medical Terminology and the Introduction to Medical Professions Nursing/Phlebotomy Programs at the Region Two School of Applied Technology in Houlton. Rowan earned “Best in Medical Terminology” Quarter Two 2022-2023, “Best in Intro to Medical Professions” Quarter One 2023-2024, won the Gold Medal at the Maine State Medical Terminology SkillsUSA Competition, and placed 9th at the National Medical Terminology SkillsUSA Competition. Rowan currently serves as the President of National Technical Honors Society at Region Two and is the Class of 2024 Class Treasurer. Rowan has participated in the Bridge Program at Region Two and has also been a member of TRIO.
Rowan has volunteered at the So. Aroostook High School Food Pantry, at SACS Community Service Day, and at the Houlton District Courthouse. She has previously worked part time as a courtesy boat inspector (checked boats for invasive plants and educated the public on prevention). Rowan’s hobbies include: knitting, reading, writing, keeping exotic pets and houseplants, and learning foreign and domestic languages. She also has a special interest in Biology. Rowan’s future plan is to enlist in the Air Force. Rowan is the daughter of Christopher & Jennifer Billotti.
