So. Aroostook High School Senior Emily Slaton has been a member of the So. Aroostook Varsity Cheerleading team for the last four years. Emily has also given back to her community through her service work which includes helping with the SACS Community Service Day, volunteering at the American Legion to serve Thanksgiving Dinner, and handing out Poppies on Veteran’s Day.
Emily works part-time at Madigan Estates located in Houlton, Maine. Her future plans are to enter the workforce following graduation and then to begin to take college courses to earn a degree. Emily also plans to earn her Certified Nurse’s Assistant license. Emily is the daughter of Tim Slaton and Jennifer Granger.
