So. Aroostook High School Senior Parker Skinner has earned numerous academic awards and attended the annual Houlton Rotary Luncheon for his outstanding academic achievement and leadership. Parker was a member of the So. Aroostook Student Council his freshman year and has been an active member of So. Aroostook Dollars for Scholars for the past four years.
Parker has been very active in high school athletics in his time here at So. Aroostook. Parker played Varsity Soccer for four years, played Varsity Basketball for four years, and also was a member of the So. Aroostook Golf team for three years.
Parker has also participated in a variety of community service projects. He has volunteered at the SACS Annual "Share the Warmth" Clothing Drive, the SACS Community Service Day, the Katahdin Hoop Camp, and at the SACS Food Pantry.
During the Summer of 2019, Parker worked at the Maine School of Science & Math Summer Camp in Limestone, Maine. His future plans are to attend Northern Maine Community College for two years and then transfer to the University of Maine to earn a degree in Statistics. Parker is the son of Ashley and Kim Skinner.
