I hope everyone is well and enjoying the warm summer weather. Monday August 30th is a purple day and the 1st day of school for all students. The teachers and staff are excited to see our students after the summer break.
Bus times may vary the first day, so please have your child out a few minutes early for the bus. Lisa and Gerry’s bus runs will be combined this year. Parent's with children on this bus run should have their child out a little earlier the first day of school. Elementary student's parents dropping their child off in the morning, should drop their child off at the elementary entrance located near the playground and also should not drop off before 7:30am.
A friendly reminder that all students are required to wear masks while indoors and riding buses. We will be providing opportunities for mask breaks during the day and also taking students outside for mask breaks during the day. We also ask that parents perform the covid daily screener before sending their child to school each day. If you need to keep your child home, please contact the school to let us know.
Students in middle/high school can access their class schedules on Web2school. Schedules will also be handed out to students on the first day of school. If there are any questions, please contact Jessica Greene, school counselor, at the high school office. The middle/high school student handbook will also be emailed to all students and reviewed with students the first day of school. Lockers will also be assigned to middle/high school students on the first day of school.
Students attending Region Two will need to come in the building and report to the flagpole entrance. The Region two bus will leave for Region Two at the flagpole entrance at approximately 7:45am.
Also a reminder, school opens at 7:30am each day and students will be dismissed at 2:20pm. The after-school program is scheduled to start on Monday September 13th. More details coming soon.
If you have any questions, please contact the school. Thank you and have a great day.
