Our NHS members and other high school students work so hard to make the food pantry happen. From unpacking the pallets of food after it arrives at school in the morning, to packing over 200 boxes of produce and dry goods, and to the final delivery phase. These kids really demonstrate their dedication to their community, their teamwork and leadership skills, all while remaining positive and having fun.
A huge thank you to the SACHS boys soccer team and their coach, Ryan Pelletier, for helping with delivery. After practicing in the heat for an hour, they saved the day and helped make delivery happen. Also, food pantry would not happen without the help of Mr. Ralph Vetter. He makes things happen!
Good luck to the So. Aroostook Middle School girls & boys soccer teams in their home games this afternoon vs. Ashland. Game times are 3:30pm.
