Thank you to all of the RSU 50 staff and student volunteers for another successful delivery of food to our community at the SACS Food Pantry.
RSU 50 is grateful to The So. Aroostook Food Pantry, located at 434 Callaghan Road in Houlton, for their donation of two pallets of individual boxed tissues to our school. This donation will enable each student to have their own box of tissues as necessitated by the Covid pandemic.
Congratulations to Ethan Collier and Sarah London on winning the So. Aroostook Physical Education Grade 7 & 8 Cornhole tournament with a 21-10 final score vs. runners-up Lincoln Hardy and Barrett Mathers. Mr. Urquhart has organized many alternative activities this fall for physical education classes due to distancing guidelines. Students have engaged in a variety of lifetime and individual sport activities including disc golf, archery, horseshoes, and Cornhole.
