This past weekend, the Southern Aroostook community witnessed a truly special moment. We are incredibly proud to announce that Ally Shields has scored her 1,000th career point!

While the 1,000-point mark is elite by any standard, Ally’s journey to this milestone is what makes it legendary. After missing her entire junior season due to a significant knee injury, she faced a grueling road to recovery. Her achievement is not just a testament to her scoring ability, but to her grit, work ethic, and refusal to let an injury define her career.

By reaching this goal, she joins an elite group of Lady Warriors who have reached this milestone. Her success is a shining example of the culture of excellence within our girls' basketball program, where talent is met with the "Aroostook County" work ethic.

Please join us in congratulating Ally Shields on this historic accomplishment!

**ASP NOTICE** There is no After School Program on Monday, February 2nd.

Good luck to the Southern Aroostook High School JV & Varsity Boys & Varsity Girls Basketball teams today in their games today @ Central Aroostook High School.

Game time is 12:00pm for the JV boys game, 1:30pm for the Varsity girls game, & 3:00pm for the Varsity Boys game.

**Ski 4 Life Announcement** Tomorrow's trip times have changed. Students will depart at 3:15 and arrive back at school after 8p. This will also be the schedule for the February 5th and 12th trips.

Notice to Southern Aroostook Middle/High School Parents and/or Guardians:

2nd Quarter Reports Cards for Grades 6-12 students are going home with students today, Friday January 23, 2026.

If you have any questions or concerns about your child's report card, please contact your child's teacher(s). If you do not receive a copy of your child's report card from your child, please notify the High School office and one will be emailed to you directly. Thank you.

Mrs. Lane took her 8th grade science class out to the nature trail to look for signs of food chain and food webs. They found lots of tracks and they created food webs.

Mrs. Brewer's Adulting class made a delicious breakfast meal this morning! They preplanned, shopped, budgeted, cooked it and got to enjoy the results at the end! Way to go!!

There will have to be a double run done on Thursday, Jan. 22nd in order for Ski 4 Life to happen. Andrew will do his run at 1:15 and then come back for ASP students to go to Big Rock.
