Due to the power outage, no school for RSU 50 students and staff today.
The PK-2 hallway at Southern Aroostook Community School suffered some water damage from the cold weather this weekend. We are working today and tomorrow on clean-up and also relocating the classes temporarily until everything is back in working order . Because of this, PK-2 students will not have school tomorrow. Grades 3-12 students will have classes as scheduled. We will continue to keep parents updated on this situation.
Also, the K-2 winter carnival has been moved to Tuesday, February 7th. The Grades 3-5 winter carnival has been moved to Thursday, February 9th.
Today's basketball games with East Grand High School have been postponed and will now be played on Thursday, February 9th. Game times are 4:30pm(Boys) and 6:00pm(Girls).
Due to the weather, RSU 50 will be closed tomorrow, Friday February 3rd, for all students and staff.

Students in Ms. Fitzherbert’s classes have been doing some great work! 8th grade students created models to learn about body systems. Students in Science Elective are building their own Newton’s Cradles. 10th graders extracted DNA strands from strawberries.
