Our annual “Bikes for Books” assembly took place this afternoon, courtesy of the Masons. Participating students in K-5 have been reading books and entering tickets into the drawing. So. Aroostook High School Alum Hannah Brown, Class of 2021, was recognized at the University of Maine Augusta 2022 Commencement, for her completion of a certificate in dental assisting. Hannah, who is 18 years old, as the youngest UMA 2022 graduate. Hannah was able to take college classes in high school as part of the Early College Program which provides free college classes for high school students. Congratulations Hannah!!! Hannah is a great example of the hard-working students who are taking advantage of these programs at So. Aroostook High School.
