So. Aroostook High School students participated in our annual "Community Service Day" to help give back to our community that gives so much for our students. Here is a picture of some students doing some work in the local playgrounds in Island Falls and Oakfield.
Our annual “Bikes for Books” assembly took place this afternoon, courtesy of the Masons. Participating students in K-5 have been reading books and entering tickets into the drawing. The So. Aroostook High School baseball and softball games today at Fort Fairfield High School have been postponed. The makeup date is Monday, May 30th at 4:30pm.

Mrs. Noyes, Mrs. Siltz, and Ms. Lyons are sporting their “Dirty Honey” apparel today! Dirty Honey is an up and coming band in which one of the members, John Notto, the guitarist, is a SACS Alumni who grew up right here in Dyer Brook.
Today we had the pleasure of celebrating Linda Slauenwhite for her 40 years of service to RSU 50 and ACAP. Thank you, Linda, for all of your contributions to our school and community over the years. So many lives have been positively impacted by you. Enjoy your retirement!

Also, parents may pick up free Covid-19 home test kits for their child at the concert. Three boxes per household. Kits for Grade 6-12 students will be sent home in the upcoming days. We will notify parents when we send them home.

So. Aroostook High School Alum Hannah Brown, Class of 2021, was recognized at the University of Maine Augusta 2022 Commencement, for her completion of a certificate in dental assisting. Hannah, who is 18 years old, as the youngest UMA 2022 graduate. Hannah was able to take college classes in high school as part of the Early College Program which provides free college classes for high school students. Congratulations Hannah!!! Hannah is a great example of the hard-working students who are taking advantage of these programs at So. Aroostook High School.
