Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School Seniors Brianna Daggett, Hunter Burpee, & Chris Caswell on their selection to the Aroostook League Senior All-Star teams. All three will be playing in the Aroostook Senior League All-Star Games in Caribou on Wednesday March 9th.
Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School Senior Hunter Burpee on his selection to the Maine McDonald's Senior Boys C/D All-Star team. Hunter will be playing at the Maine McDonald's Senior All-Star Game at Husson University on Saturday March 12, 2022. The game time for the C/D game is 1:15pm.
Congratulations to Coach Cliff Urquhart on his selection as the 2022 Northern Maine Class D Girls Coach of the Year by the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches. Coach Urquhart will be coaching the Northern Maine C/D Girls All-Star Team at the Maine McDonald's Senior All-Star Game on Saturday March 12, 2022.
So. Aroostook High School will be pre-selling tickets for the Class D State Championships being held in Augusta on Saturday March 5th. So. Aroostook girls team will be playing Seacoast Christian at 1:00pm and the So. Aroostook boys team will be playing Forest Hills High School at approximately 2:30pm. Tickets costs are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. If interested in purchasing tickets, please stop by the So. Aroostook High School office.

There will be a victory parade for the So. Aroostook High School girls and boys basketball teams at approximately 4:15pm today. The parade will go through Island Falls, Dyer Brook, Oakfield, Smyrna, and Merrill and finish at the school. Come out to congratulate the teams!!

Tomorrow is CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY!!! So. Aroostook High School will be sending both the Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball teams to Bangor to play for Class D Northern Maine Championships!! Good luck to both teams and their coaches!! SA Girls will play at 9:00am vs. Wisdom High School. SA Boys will play at 10:45am vs. Machias High School. The school is hoping to see you all there to support our teams, cheerleaders, and our school band. Wear your purple and white. GO WARRIORS!!

GAME DAY IN BANGOR! Good luck to the So. Aroostook High School Girls & Boys Basketball Teams in their Class D North Semifinal games at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. The girls take on Schenck High School at 3:30pm and the boys take on take on Schenck High School at 7:00pm. The Cole's Transportation Museum in Bangor, Maine recently awarded So. Aroostook Community School a grant for new instruments for our Music/Band program. A big thank you goes to So. Aroostook Music Director Katherine Noyes for helping to secure the new instruments for our students!!
