The So. Aroostook High School girls and boys soccer teams open the regular season tonight at Easton High School. The boys team plays at 5:00pm and the girls game will follow. Good luck to both teams!!!

Middle School Soccer for So. Aroostook Community School students will start on Monday, August 22nd. It is open to any student in the 5th through 8th grade.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the So. Aroostook School Food Pantry scheduled for Thursday will not be open. The Food Pantry will resume in September.
So. Aroostook High School Golf Practice starts this week.
Wednesday August 17th - 3:15 to 5:00
Friday August 19th - 3:15 to 5:00
Practice's will be held at VaJoWa Golf Course. We encourage anyone who is interested in playing to join regardless of experience. Please contact the school if you have any questions
The Southern Aroostook Community School Food Pantry will be open on Thursday August 18th at 12:30pm.
If any Southern Aroostook High School students are looking for community service hours in the next few weeks, before school starts, please contact either Ms. Greene or Mr. Porter via email. There a few opportunities coming up and could be a great chance for you to take care of some of the required community service hours for graduation.
For an example: York's of Houlton is asking for high school students to volunteer for a few hours on Thursday, August 18th for their annual Kids Day. Volunteers are needed from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We are also looking for volunteers to help teachers set-up their classrooms before school starts.

The So. Aroostook High School band also participated in the Island Falls in the Island Falls 150th year parade today.
So. Aroostook High School girls and boys basketball teams participated in the 150th year celebration parade in Island Falls today. Boys also received their State Championship rings today! Thank you to everyone who helped by donating money for the rings.
A great turnout for the Island Falls Lakes Association canoe and kayak race at Birch Point Campground. Thank you to all the participated and for your support of the So. Aroostook Scholarship Fund.
Registration begins at 12:00pm for the Island Falls Lake Association Canoe, Kayak, & SUP race. Registration runs from 12:00-12:45pm. Race starts at 1:00. Proceeds from the race benefit the So. Aroostook Scholarship Fund.
