Thank you to the members of the Oakfield Baptist Church for your appreciation of the faculty and staff here at So. Aroostook Community School. Yesterday, the staff was treated to a variety of individually wrapped baked goods.
Students in the So. Aroostook after-school program enjoyed coloring pumpkins yesterday afternoon. Here are a few of the pumpkins on display here at school. They did a great job! Thank you to the ASP staff for providing this fun opportunity for our students.
Due to a scheduling conflict in the multipurpose room, the SA middle school girls and boys practices are canceled for today.

“Share the Warmth” Clothing Drive will be held tomorrow, October 16th at Southern Aroostook Community School in the bus garage (next to the Superintendents office) from 10am-4pm. Tonight in Houlton the top two teams in the 8 Man Small School North Division will face off, #1 Mattanawcook Academy vs #2 Houlton/Hodgdon/Southern Aroostook Shires. The game will be held at the Maliseet Athletic Field at 7:00pm. This will be the final home game of the regular season for the team. Pictured here is So. Aroostook Senior Chris Caswell. Student led conferences for Grades K-8 students will be held today from 3:00-7:00pm and tomorrow from 8:00-11:00am. All conferences are virtual. If you do not have a scheduled time, please contact the school. Also, a reminder that there will be no school tomorrow or Monday for students. Finally, 1st trimester progress reports for grades 6-12 students will be sent home today with students. Have a great long weekend!!
