Congratulations to our newest retirees! Mrs. Hallet and Mrs. Dimarco retired this Spring. Mrs. Hallet has 42 years of service here at SACS. During that time she has worked in the high school, middle school, and most recently, in the elementary school. She has been a great asset in helping with our interventions. Mrs. Dimarco has been teaching at SACS for 32 years. She has been a Title I teacher, a second grade teacher, a multi-aged classroom teacher, and most recently, a Reading Recovery teacher/reading coach. Both ladies will be greatly missed at school. We wish them the best!
The elementary staff would like to wish all students and their families a safe and wonderful summer. This spring has been a challenge for all of us, and we appreciate all the help and support that we received from parents and this community. Please enjoy our fun video attached below.

A few more photos from Fort Night...
The school will be open this Monday-Wednesday from 8:00am-2:00pm for students to drop off all books, computers and chargers, hotspot devices, band instruments, and other school property. Please come to the high school office entrance. Also, if students have any personal items at school, they can come pick their belongings up during this time. Students finishing up with remote learning or engaging in Remote Summer School can make an appointment to drop materials off once they complete their work. If you have any questions, please contact the school on Monday. Thank you.
Roughly 90 elementary students and staff participated in, "Fort Night" on Thursday night. Bedtime stories were shared as well as a video of some staff members wishing students a wonderful summer. Below is a snap shot of some of the creative forts that were built.
Thank you to the RSU 50 staff who have continued to prepare and deliver meals during remote learning. Pictured here is one of the floats in yesterday's parade and aprons each staff member received as a small token of our appreciation. They have prepared and delivered over 40,000 meals and counting!!
