Tuesday, 9/15, is International Dot Day. We will celebrate The Dot, a children's book in which a teacher inspires a reluctant student to let her creativity bloom. Please encourage children to wear something with dots on it. 1 big dot (a ball), polka dots or even round buttons!

The So. Aroostook After School Program starts on Monday September 21st. We are planning to offer both in-person and remote services. Please be sure to send in your applications by next Friday to ensure a spot for your child.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will extend several flexibilities through as late as December 31, 2020. The flexibilities allow summer meal program operators to continue serving free meals to all children into the fall months. This unprecedented move will help ensure – no matter what the situation is on-the-ground – children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. All RSU 50 students will eat free breakfast & lunch to start the school year. We are also asking parents to please complete the free & reduced application for their children for the 2020-21 school year. Please contact the school if you have any questions. Thank you.

A letter to RSU 50 Remote Learners is attached here and can also be found on our school website. Please call the school if you have any questions.
