Nice to see community recognition of the SACS food & delivery service. As of Wednesday May 6th, they have put out 24,958 meals!

Congratulations to Lyndsie Beaulieu and Thatcher Lawlor for winning this year's bookmark contest. A copy of Thatcher's bookmark will be sent home to all K-2 students, and a copy of Lyndsie's bookmark will be sent home to all 3-5 students.

Happy Teacher & Staff Appreciation Day!! Thank you to the RSU 50 teachers and staff for everything you do. We purchased a box of Maple Candy for each staff member, from Spring Break Maple & Honey located in Smyrna, as a small token of our appreciation.
I had the pleasure of seeing and talking to Miss Lyons' second grade during their library class this morning. It was great to see them. They are greatly missed here at school!

Hannah Landry of Island Falls has received an A. Cressy Morrison Scholarship from Scholarship America. Hannah Landry was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for her college education, renewable for an additional three years totaling $10,000!! Check out the story on our website.

Mrs. Kim Russell invited So. Aroostook Middle School students to a virtual cooking class this morning to bake muffins with her. Eighteen students joined her. Here is a picture of some of their creations. Great work guys!!
So. Aroostook received a nice Certificate of Appreciation from the Maine Dept. of Education. During the Covid-19 Pandemic the So. Aroostook food service and delivery staff have put out 18,268 meals and counting.
