Big Rock Mountain is closed today, the So. Aroostook Community School field trip to Big Rock for Ski for Life has been canceled for today.
Due to the weather, RSU 50/So. Aroostook Community School will have a two hour delay this morning, Thursday, February 29, 2024.
TICKET INFORMATION FOR SATURDAY'S GIRLS CLASS D STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME IN AUGUSTA
The Southern Aroostook High School girls basketball team will be playing Valley High School at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday March 2nd at 1:00pm for the Class D State Championship.
This year at the Augusta Civic Center, ticket sales are completely digital. Fans can purchase tickets from https://gofan.co/event/1311820?schoolId=MPA
Good luck to the team and their coaches as they play for their 3rd consecutive Class D State Championship and their 5th State Championship in 6 years!

This past weekend, Southern Aroostook Minor Hockey Association (SAMHA)
14U Tier 4 Junior Blackhawks, played in the Northern Division playoffs
in Augusta. The Blackhawks were seeded #2. The team is anchored by team
captain and goalie, Connor Lilley. Connor is a 9th Grade student at So. Aroostook High School. Congratulations!!
Friday, the Blackhawks defeated Maine Junior Black Bears 1-0, scoring in the last
13.5 seconds of regulation time. On Saturday, the Blackhawks defeated the Midcoast Storm 4-3 scoring the game winning goal in the last 1:36 of regulation time. On Sunday, the Blackhawks defeated the Presque Isle Wildcats 3-1 for the
Northern Division Championship.
The Junior Blackhawks will play this coming Sunday in Auburn for the
State Championship at 4:50 pm. It can be viewed on Livebarn. Best of Luck!!
Region Two School will be hosting an Open House for students in grades 8-11, as well as their families on February 28th from 4pm to 6pm. Students will and parents will be able to learn about the various programs offered at Region Two. Please contact Region Two if you have any questions.
