Many of you may have known a special fan of ours, Charlotte Durr, who collected money at the door for our Junior High and High School Basketball games.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Charlotte passed away on January 1st, surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte spent many years as a School Counselor at Katahdin Middle/High School and Southern Aroostook High School. She spent 43 years in education serving students and families in rural Maine. After retiring, Charlotte worked 11 more years as a TRIO Talent Search Advisor at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. In total, she worked 54 years in public education!
