What to expect:
The Ceremony: Watch your little one take the big stage! 🎉
The Treats: Enjoy a sweet treat right after the graduation. 🧁
The K-Meeting: Parents will stay for a quick, super-helpful Kindergarten transition meeting. 📝
The Dismissal: Once the meeting wraps up, you can head to the classroom to grab your student and their belongings. 🎒
Please note: Tuesday, June 10th is the final day of Pre-K for the school year (unless your child is attending summer school!). We can't wait to celebrate with you! 🥳

Thank you to the Masons from the Island Falls #206 for making the Bikes for Books Program happen for our elementary students. The winners of the bikes were: Brynlee King, Reed Ouellette, Layla Crandall, Oliver Dow, Brandon Kluth, Wren Bustard, Connor Bruce, Norah Michaud, Myah Watson, Miles Michaud, Olivia King, and Bentley Collier who donated his bike to his friend Kian Goodness! Congratulations to all!
Some SACS retired teachers came to visit today with our latest upcoming retiree, Mrs. Susan Noyes! Teaching provides such a wonderful life long community! Congratulations to Mrs. Noyes, we will miss you!

Miss Lyons’ classroom was transformed into a full-on campground today. The best part? The students got to cook and eat their own s’mores! 🔥🍫 Happy memories (and some sticky fingers) were definitely made.

Please be advised that we will have a bus schedule change on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, affecting students on Andrew’s Bus Run. Andrew’s bus run will leave school at 2:00 pm instead of the usual time of 2:20 pm. Andrew’s bus students will be home about 20 minutes earlier than their usual time.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we ensure all our students get home from school safely.

Fifth graders went to the planetarium, Urban Air, and Sweet Frog for their end of the year field trip!
Mrs. Gallop’s first graders read books with Mrs. York’s fifth graders. Then, the fifth graders turned those books into board games. Today we came back together to play the games! So much fun!

Southern Aroostook Middle School held their annual field day & cookout yesterday. Thank you to the middle school teachers and staff for organizing this great day of fun for our students!
Southern Aroostook High School Counselor Jessica Greene hosted the annual "Goodbye High School, Hello Future" event this past Monday. This is an opportunity for our seniors and parents to get information and ask questions about the transition from school to college, the workforce, or the armed services. Southern Aroostook Community School 8th Grader Aiden Macomber has been working on a rocket for extra credit for his Science class. He had a chance to test fire his rocket today. To say it was a success is an understatement! Congratulations Aiden on your successful rocket launch.
