Good luck to the Southern Aroostook High School Baseball & Softball teams in their games this afternoon vs. Fort Fairfield High School. Game time is 4:00pm.

Ms. Fitzherbert's Chemistry Class was selected to participate in the "Bringing Nuclear Fission to Light" classroom program from America's Navy. Topics included radioactive decay and nuclear fission and it culminated in a hands-on activity. Students used Lite-Brite sets to create a model of how a single atom splitting triggers a cascade of nuclear reactions.

Due to field conditions, today's varsity baseball and softball games vs. Fort Fairfield High School have been postponed until tomorrow, Tuesday May 5, 2026.

We honored our cooks today at the elementary All School Morning Meeting! Thank you for all you do for our students!

A big congratulation goes out to the cast and crew of the ASP Elementary Drama Club, under the direction of Mrs. Hawkins. Their production of Charlotte's Web proved that we've got some talented entertainers coming up!

Sixth graders created and tested rubber band helicopters in Science class today.

More 6th Grade Book Report projects

Southern Aroostook Community School 6th graders just finished up book reports. Students presented their finished projects this week Their focus was on characterization , fill a box with 10 items significant to the main character in their books, summarize their book and identify how the main character changed throughout the story.

Due to field conditions from last night's rain today's middle school games vs Caribou have been postponed. The makeup date is Monday, June 1st at 3:30pm.

The students in Mrs. White's kindergarten class got to enjoy a pizza party in the library today! 🍕 They had the highest rate of participation in our Read Across Aroostook Spirit Week. 📚

Congratulations to newly inducted Southern Aroostook High School students Emma Stubbs, Tabitha Dicosmio , and Lily Rush into the Region Two School of Applied Technology National Technical Honor Society(NTHS). Also pictured here is current Vice-President of the Region Two NTHS, Ariana Given. It was great recognition ceremony to celebrate students academic achievements.

This week, students from Southern Aroostook Community School flew to Washington DC to tour several Memorials, the US Capital Building, the Supreme Court, the National Archives, Mt Vernon, Arlington Cemetery, and Smithsonian Museum’s. Thank you to the school staff and the parent chaperones that made this a memorable experience for our students.
