Members of the So. Aroostook Scholarship Fund want to thank everyone who ordered a Super Bowl Sandwich for the annual fundraising event. Members created and delivered over 700 sandwiches this weekend!!


The 10 semifinalists for Maine Mr. and Miss Basketball were announced yesterday. Southern Aroostook High School Senior Dylan Burpee has been named a semifinalist for Mr. Basketball. Congratulations Dylan!!
The award is given to the top male and female basketball player in the state. The Top 10 will be reduced to 3 Finalists with the winner being announced on Friday, March 8th at the Maine Association of Basketball Coaches/McDonald's All-Star Banquet at the Anah Temple Shrine in Bangor.

This week is National School Counseling Week and we are celebrating our School Counselors here at Southern Aroostook Community School.

Tonight is Senior Night and also our Annual "Pink Out" game with proceeds from tonight's games going to support Cancer Awareness. Fans are encouraged to wear pink or purple tonight!!! Game time is 4:30pm for the junior varsity game with the Varsity game at 6:00 pm.

So. Aroostook Community School Drama Club will be performing tonight at 6:00pm in the Multipurpose Room here at school. The name of the production is "12 Incompetent Jurors". $5 admission. Good luck to the cast and crew!!
The So. Aroostook junior class will also be selling Ice Cream Sundaes tonight for $5.
