The So. Aroostook High School Boys boys and girls basketball teams will be traveling to East Grand High School in Danforth for games tonight. Games times: 4:30pm-Varsity Girls, 6:00pm-Varsity Boys. Good luck to both teams!!

Just a reminder, Wednesday December 14th, is an Early Release Day at So. Aroostook Community School. Student dismissal is at 11:15am.

More congratulations are in order for senior, Alyssa Crandall! Alyssa received acceptance letters from the University of Southern Maine and the University of New England. She looks to study Psychology. Alyssa also received a $4,000 President’s Scholar award from USM and an impressive $21,000 merit scholarship from UNE that is renewable for four years. Congratulations, Alyssa!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💙

Congratulations to Jennah Brooks on two more college acceptance letters from the University of Southern Maine and University of New England. She received a $4000 Presidential Scholar Award from USM and a $21,000 merit scholarship from UNE! Way to go, Jennah! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💙

Congratulations to So. Aroostook High School Senior John Langer on his acceptance to University of Maine in the College of Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture with a major in Forestry. He also received an annual merit scholarship of $2,000.

Our students are enjoying some time in the outdoor classroom today with Mrs. Williams. They enjoyed a treat of hot chocolate after.

Southern Aroostook High School is creating some great opportunities in media production for middle and high school students. Southern Aroostook IT Coordinator Todd Kuindersma is coordinating and training students on our school's basketball game media productions this season. Also, So. Aroostook Photography students Rylee Webb and Sarah London have been creating GAME DAY images of the teams and the cheerleaders for the school website. It is great to see technology used to promote student learning and programs. Thank you to all of the students and staff who are contributing to this great program.
